2017年4月28日《北京发》苏新平&王华祥双个展于城南艺术中心CUBE美术馆开幕。继2016年的《四川发》以“地域论评”形式连续进行的本项目主旨在于以个别地区的视角来观察当代地域艺术,同时将在这些地区介绍城南艺术,遵循策划案的宗旨以我们的视角探寻当代艺术地形。
There will be an exhibition (Beijing Fa) ,following the year of 2016’s Sichuan Fa, held in Seongnam Art Centre’s CUBE Gallery. And it refers to obseve local regional arts according to the view of several regions in the form of Regional Comment. Simultaneously, it is going to introduce the art of Seongnam in these regions to seek contemporary art landform.

世界艺术市场的趋向与构筑中北京仍然是主要动因及支点。在这里无数的艺术家,收藏家,画商,爱好者积极的活动于美术圈,多样的艺术创作活动通过多样化的空间平台被介绍,消费。众多的艺术家展现着各自不同的声音,有不少艺术家不为时代的流行,思潮所动摇,以分明的自我中心默默前行在艺术之路上。本次介绍的其中两位,作为艺术家,教育家,或是前辈或是老师,充当着这个时代艺术家们的精神支柱之重役。本次主人公就是苏新平,王华祥。以两场个人展形式分别在CUBE美术馆策划展厅和808廊同时举办的本次展览将成为目睹即不同又相似的两位艺术家作品世界的好机会。
Beijing is still the main motive power and pillar in the tendency and structure of world art market, And numerous artists, collectors, painting-sellers,amateurs come to the circle of art in Beijing, where varieties activities of art creativity are introduced and consumed by various space paltforms. .Many artists show their own different style here. Many , if not most, artists insists their own style all along. Now I am going to introduce two figures, Su Xinping and Wang Huaxiang, who play vital roles among the contemporary artists. They are artists, educators, predecessors or teachers. The exhibition will be respectively held in CBEU Gallery and 808 Corridor in the form of two individual forms,which will be different from but similar to two artists’ works and well-known.

王华祥布展中
身处恶劣环境的人,不能失去追求与盼望,要像冬眠的果木一样等待花开。花盆有两种含义,一个是:在没有土壤和水分的坏境中种花,就要制造一个宜于植物生长的人工环境。另一个是:花盆里的树,无论浇多少水也不可长成参天树。在某个时段的某个空间中,一个人和一个族群的盼望,令人感伤和绝望。
열악한 환경에 처해있는 인간은 추구(追求)와 소망을 잃어버리면 안되고, 동면 중인 과일나무마냥 꽃 피우기를 기다려야 한다. 화분통은 두가지 함의를 가진다. 하나: 토양과 수분이 없는 환경에서 꽃을 키우려면 식물의 성장에 알맞은 인공적 환경을 만들어야 하는 것이고, 둘: 화분속의 나무는 물을 얼마나 많이 주던지 막론하고 하늘을 찌르는 거목이 될 수 없다. 그 어떤 시간대와 공간속에서, 한 사람과 한 민족이 가지는 소망은 인간을 슬프고 절망하게 한다.

“城市幽灵”创作于2004年,那时北京私家车突然爆发式增长,虽然还不及现在的十分之一,我感到莫名的恐惧,于是创作了这组版画。现在,废旧汽车堆积场的照片,竟然和我画中的景象一模一样。
