Wen Zhongyan
Born in 1971 in Jishan County, Yuncheng, Shanxi Province; graduated as a bachelor in 1997 from the Printmaking Department of Central Academy of Fine Arts; graduated in 2010 as a Master of Fine Arts（MFA）from the Painting Department of the Academy of Arts and Design of Tsinghua University.

Has worked from 1997 till now as a professor, a doctoral supervisor, and the dean in the Painting Department of the Academy of Arts and Design of Tsinghua University.   

Is a member of Chinese Artists Association, a member of the Printmaking Council of Chinese Artists Association, the deputy director of Beijing Artists Association, the vice-president of the International Printmaking Institute of Central Academy of Fine Arts, a researcher of the Specialized Committee of China National Academy of Painting, and a member of the International Academic Printmaking Alliance（IAPA）.
